A custom steel door isn't pulled off a shelf. It's built for one opening, on one house, and every step matters to how it looks and works for the next few decades.
It starts with measurement. We measure the rough opening on site, check that it's square and level, and note anything that affects the design, like the swing direction, floor height, and nearby windows or columns. A door that's built to the true opening goes in cleanly and seals properly.
Next comes design. Many clients start in our catalog of more than 500 designs and adjust from there: a different glass pattern, an arched top, sidelights, or a different finish. Others bring a photo or sketch. Either way, you approve the layout, glass, hardware, and finish in a written quote before any steel is cut.
Then we fabricate. The frame and door are cut and welded square, decorative panels are cut, sometimes by CNC for precise patterns, and the door is primed and finished. Glass and hardware are fitted so the door is ready to hang.
Installation is where it all comes together. We remove the old door, set the new frame plumb and level, anchor it solidly, and seal it against weather. Then we hang the door, adjust it, and test every hinge, lock, and latch with you before we leave.
The result is an entry that fits perfectly, locks securely, and looks like it was always meant to be there.
